PANDO

Like a leafy tree, the colored lampshade is perched and held in place by its solid wood trunk, sourced from the forests of Hauts-de-France. Why this analogy with a tree? Because it’s the very essence of the Skog brand, which means “forest” in Swedish. What better way to represent their vision! Pando was born in 2021 and became part of the French national collection in 2023, highlighting the alliance between craftsmanship and modernity. This lamp is made from solid ash from the forests of Hauts-de-France, while its shade is made from biosourced linoleum and plant-based plastic, a fine balance between ancestral know-how and new technologies. It’s important to emphasize that eco-design has been at the heart of the project right from the start. Pando was evaluated by the ECO IMPACT organization and awarded an A rating for its environmental and social impact. Photo credits: Studio.b.helle
